Nice Bible.

I would like to pray with you.

Do you know Jesus, me too.

God told me to come talk to you.

I know a church where we could go and talk.

How about a hug, sister?

Do you need help carrying your Bible? It looks heavy.

Christians don't shake hands, Christians gotta hug.

Oh you are cold, Eccleseasties 4:11.

Did it hurt when you fell from Heaven?

What are your plans for tonight? Feel like a Bible study?

I am here for you.

The word says "Give drink to those who are thirsty, and feed the hungry," how about dinner?

You don't have an accountability partner? Me neither.

You want to come over and watch the 10 commandments tonight?

Is it a sin that you stole my heart?

Would you happen to know a Christian woman that I could love with all my heart and wait on hand and foot?

Do you believe in Divine appointment?

Have you ever tried praying at a drive in movie before?

Excuse me, I believe one of your ribs belongs to me.

My friend told me to come and meet you, he said that you are a really nice person. I think you know him. Jesus, yeah, that's his name.

You know they say that you have never really dated, until you have dated a Christian.

It can be disheartening as a Christian to see all the anti-Christian websites, the hate, the harassment. Let's just keep our focus on our Lord and pray fervently for this nation. For all the hate mongering against us, we can find more who stand with us. Even agnostics, sounds funny, huh? But I do have a few friends who are agnostic, yet never put my beliefs down. We have to stand together to be strong. We have to pray together to be strong. We have to let our voices be heard. I am happy to say I have a loving God who sent His only son to die on the cross for my sins. My past and future sin. I have a direct line to my Jesus and can talk to him every day, every hour if I want to. And this same Jesus rose again and is alive and well today! He's not some dead prophet who promoted hate, torture, and murder . I have a joy only a Christian could know. An unspeakable joy! I'm not afraid of tomorrow, I know where I'm headed. So Onward Christian Soldiers! Fight the good fight.

"We must focus on prayers as the main thrust to accomplish God's will and purpose on earth. The forces against us have never been greater, and this is the only way we can release God's power to become victorius."` John Maxwell

We have this promise.

"Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake; for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven, for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you." Matthew 5:10-12

Blog EntryThe UncoolAug 27, '07 12:34 AM
for everyone
There was once an enlightened society; a diverse, multicultural society for whom tolerance was the ultimate achievement. Sometimes even tolerance of evil and wrong persisted until these words began to lose their meaning.

Yet, in this enlightened, tolerant society, there remained a class of people so unpopular, so "uncool" that it was actually fashionable to ridicule them, to show intolerance for them. The "Uncool" were the only people whom it was actually politically correct to stereotype, deride and discriminate against.

Entertainment industries portrayed them as evil, ignorant, hypocrites or all of the above. The media called them "religious right," "extremists," "fundamentalists."

Their "dangerous" ideas like traditional family and morality were mocked. "Whose morality?" they'd say. "Everyone's morality is different." The citizens didn't see that having no morality standards was the same as having bad morality standards. And no one denied the incredible decline in standards, increased crime, etc that happened in direct proportion to the unpopularity of the beliefs of the Uncool. The same beliefs that once made them highly esteemed and trusted, now made them the objects of derision and scorn.

The Uncool were now the rebels. Yet what they believed and practised hadn't changed for centuries. It's just that now they lived in an enlightened society.

The Uncool were occasionally able to convince others of the validity of their time-honoured beliefs. But winning them over was difficult because being cool was extremely important in the enlightened society. Being cool was almost as important as being tolerant. But the Uncool would share their strange message of every person's inadequacy (another thing that was very unpopular) and their need for a Saviour. Some of the citizens, for whom being cool was less of a priority, were wise enough to see these inadequacies in themselves, embrace the Saviour and become Uncool.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket Sadly, most misunderstood. Many thought the Uncool were saying that all but the Uncool themselves were inadequate and since they were better, they'd be the only ones to spend eternity with their Saviour. The Uncool weren't saying this at all. They were only stressing that no one is cool. No matter how cool they think they are.

JUST AS I AM
Charlotte Elliott

CHARLOTTE ELLIOTT seemed to have everything going for her as a young woman. She was gifted as a portrait artist and also as a writer of humorous verse. Then in her early thirties she suffered a serious illness that left her weak and depressed. During her illness a noted minister, Dr. Caesar Malan of Switzerland, came to visit her. Noticing her depression, he asked if she had peace with God. She resented the question and said she did not want to talk about it.
But a few days later she went to apologize to Dr. Malan. She said that she wanted to clean up some things in her life before becoming a Christian. Malan looked at her and answered, Come just as you are. That was enough for Charlotte Elliott, and she yielded herself to the Lord that day.
Fourteen years later, remembering those words spoken to her by Caesar Malan in Brighton, England, she wrote this simple hymn that has been used to touch the hearts of millions who have also responded to Christ's invitation to come just as they are.

JUST AS I AM
Just as I am, without one plea,
But that Thy blood was shed for me,
And that Thou biddest me come to Thee,
O Lamb of God I come! I come!

Just as I am, and waiting not
To rid my soul of one dark blot,
To Thee, whose blood can cleanse each spot,
O Lamb of God I come! I come!

Just as I am, tho tossed about
With many a conflict, many a doubt,
Fightings within, and fears without,
O Lamb of God I come! I come!

Just as I am, poor, wretched, blind,
Sight, riches, healing of the mind,
Yea, all I need, in Thee to find,
O Lamb of God I come! I come!

Just as I am, Thou wilt receive,
Wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve;
Because Thy promise I believe,
O Lamb of God I come! I come!

Just as I am, Thy love unknown
Hath broken every barrier down;
Now to be Thine, yea Thine alone,
O Lamb of God I come! I come!

Just as I am, of that free love
The breadth, length, depth, the height to prove,
Here for a season then above,
O Lamb of God I come! I come!

Blog EntryA Christian's Way To Reduce StressFeb 23, '07 12:46 AM
for everyone
I know we all have stress in our life at least sometimes, so I searched and found this message that might help a few. Sorry for all the copy and paste blogs, I'm just not very original, lol, but maybe I can make you laugh or make you feel better at times. Anyway, that's my hope! Love ya. (I like the part about laughing. It sure helps me.)

A Christian's Way To Reduce Stress

An Angel says, "Never borrow from the future. If you worry about what may happen tomorrow and it doesn't happen, you have worried in vain. Even if it does happen, you have to worry twice."

1. Pray.

2. Go to bed on time.

3. Get up on time so you can start the day unrushed.

4. Say No to projects that won't fit into your time schedule, or that will compromise your mental health.

5. Delegate tasks to capable others.

6. Simplify and unclutter your life.

7. Less is more.. (Although one is often not enough, two are often too many.)

8. Allow extra time to do things and to get to places.

9. Pace yourself. Spread out big changes and difficult projects over time; don't lump the hard things all together.

10. Take one day at a time.

11. Separate worries from concerns. If a situation is a concern, find out what God would have you do and let go of the anxiety. If you can't do anything about a situation, forget it.

12. Live within your budget; don't use credit cards for ordinary purchases.

13. Have backups; an extra car key in your wallet, an extra house key buried in the garden, extra stamps, etc.

14. K.M.S. (Keep Mouth Shut). This single piece of advice can prevent an enormous amount of trouble.

15. Do something for the Kid in You everyday.

16. Carry a Bible with you to read while waiting in line.

17 Get enough rest.

18. Eat right.

19. Get organized so everything has its place.

20. Listen to a tape while driving that can help improve your quality of life.

21. Write down thoughts and inspirations.

22. Every day, find time to be alone.

23. Having problems? Talk to God on the spot.. Try to nip small problems in the bud. Don't wait until it's time to go to bed to try and pray.

24. Make friends with Godly people.

25. Keep a folder of favorite scriptures on hand.

26. Remember that the shortest bridge between despair and hope is often a good "Thank you Jesus."

27. Laugh.

28. Laugh some more!

29. Take your work seriously, but not yourself at all.

30. Develop a forgiving attitude (most people are doing the best they can).

31. Be kind to unkind people (they probably need it the most).

32. Sit on your ego.

33. Talk less; listen more.

34. Slow down.

35. Remind yourself that you are not the general manager of the universe.

36. Every night before bed, think of one thing you're grateful for that you've never been grateful for before. GOD HAS A WAY OF TURNING THINGS AROUND FOR YOU. "If God is for us, who can be against us?" (Romans 8:31).
